2021 in numbers
Our 2021 Sustainability Report
As one of the sustainability leaders on the Polish market, we are obligated to continue setting increasingly high standards. We believe that such an attitude is not only ethical, but also rational.
Kompania Piwowarska’s 2021 Sustainability Report constitutes a summary of what we accomplished in terms of sustainability in 2021. These activities spanned across all the strategic areas specified by Asahi Europe & International: Planet, People, Portfolio and Profit.
Some of them were of strategic nature, others represented changes implemented into our company operations, contributing to the achievement of bigger goals. A part of them constituted a continuation of our previous, often long-term undertakings, others were completely new.
Our Commitments 2030
Two areas of the BETTER FUTURE 2030 strategy play a crucial role in building our company values in a sustainable way:
Even though we are already best-in-class in Europe within that scope, we continue to further reduce our water consumption for beer production. We intent to use exclusively fully circular packaging and only buy ingredients sourced sustainably. Within the People area, we promote diversity in our teams, particularly by aiming for an equal balance of executive men and women in leadership. We also support responsible choices in terms of alcohol consumption by increasing the share of non-alcoholic products in our portfolio, among other things.
