Książęce Beer Academy and Czech Serving Academy on the search for bartender talents!

In October, the next Książęce Beer Academy and Czech Serving Academy dedicated to masters of bartender art were launched. They continue Kompania Piwowarska’s prestigious project and are accompanied by Książęce, Pilsner Urquell, and Kozel brands. The autumn edition of this training will take place in 7 Polish cities. Twenty-nine best bartenders will compete in the finals, which will be held in December, in Warsaw.

These meetings are one of many pretexts to remind about and restore rituals and customs of serving the golden beverage, proving that its way of serving and pouring is a true art. 

Książęce Beer Academy is a training project created with waiters and bartenders in mind, who on a daily basis have contact with this beer brand. Thanks to this, they will be able to gain practical skills and knowledge about the rich world of Książęce beer and the art of food paring. The workshops are planned in 5 cities: Katowice (7 October), Toruń (21 October), Warsaw (4 November), Tricity (18 November), and Koszalin (25 November). The top 15 will go to the finals in Warsaw (9 December).

Czech Serving Academy is aimed at bar staff from outlets serving Pilsner Urquell and Velkopovický Kozel. During the training, participants will get to know about the nature of Czech beers, the secrets of Czech serving, and the specificity of Czech beer culture. They will also gain knowledge and practical skills on how to handle draft equipment. Training will be provided by beer experts: Sławek Fridel and Marcin Ostrowski. The workshops are planned in 5 cities: Tychy (8 October), Toruń (22 October), Warsaw (5 November), Tricity (19 November), and Kołobrzeg (26 November). The top 14 will go to the finals in Warsaw (10 December).

This training is free of charge and consists of two parts – an educational, and a competition one, and takes place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Almost a thousand people will take part in it! The winners will receive cash prizes sponsored by Kompania Piwowarska and the title of Master Bartender 2019.

Kompania Piwowarska’s Beer Academies are prestigious, periodical training meetings for best bartenders in Poland from selected outlets. The Academies are held all over the country, all year round. The aim of this project is to offer opportunities for improving one’s qualifications and gaining knowledge about beer. Thanks to this, the masters of bartender art are the best ambassadors of Książęce, Pilsner Urquell, and Kozel brands.
