POP IN FOR A BEER AND ENJOY A CONCERT AT TYSKIE BROWARY KSIĄŻĘCE
On 5 October, Tyskie Browary Książęce brewery will open its gates to a wider audience.
The historic 19th century interiors of the complex will host the stars of the Polish music scene – The Dumplings and Myslovitz. There will also be other attractions, such as Tyskie Intergenerational Dancing party, and stand-ups by Michał Kempa and Klub Komediowy.
On this day, for the first time ever, the historic buildings of the former Tar Plant and Cooperage will be opened to the public. These facilities will become permanent venues for various cultural events – all year round one will be able to visit Tyskie Browary Książęce on the occasion of different events, and at least twice a year larger events combined with concerts will be organized there.
We would like to encourage all to switch to first-name terms over Tyskie, this time both with yourself and Tyskie Browary Książęce. The opening of our gates will not only be a great opportunity to explore the secrets of the brewery in which Tyskie has been brewed for four centuries, but also an unusual opportunity to integrate with the local community and have great fun – encourages Maciej Kuś from the brand’s marketing department.
The Tar Plant, where historically barrels used to be coated with tar in order to make them leak-proof, will be where Bartek Gajda and Michał Kempa and Klub Komediowy will perform their stand-ups. That will also be the place where cover songs will be played.
The old Cooperage, where the barrels used to be manufactured and repaired, will host the Tyskie Intergenerational Dancing party in the form of a silent disco. The Dumplings and Myslovitz will perform on an open-air stage. There will also be a variety of food served from food trucks and, of course, beer.
The nature of the event shows that Tyskie Browary Ksiażęce is a place open to events aimed at the residents of Silesia and anyone interested in the brewery and good fun – adds Maciej Kuś.
The event starts at 2 p.m. The concerts will start at 6 p.m.
Be with us on 5 October – pop in for a beer to the brewery and switch to first-name terms with Tyskie!
